This is one of my favorite all day, everyday stretches. It feels good in the morning, in the middle of your day, and even in the evening. Whenever you feel a little stiff and sore, take a few moments to do this stretch. You will feel better.
I want to know if you wake up feeling stiff and sore in the morning like I do sometimes? Sometimes I get up and I feel like I can barely move. If you’re like me then I have a stretch for you that will help you jump start your day so that you start to feel good right away in your body.
Simply walk to the edge of your bed, desk, kitchen counter, or even a park bench put your hands on the edge of the bed and then step the feet back. You can bend the knees. You can move the legs. You can do whatever you want to make the posture feel good in your body. Move so you feel the stiff, tight, sore muscles releasing. Add a few mindful breaths as you practice this movement.. Let the body relax and stretch and open and then after a few breaths slowly rise back up to standing.
Notice how you feel. This stretch will jump start your day and it really help you feeling good.
