At the start of every yoga class, I invite you to set an intention for your practice. But this ritual of setting an intention goes way beyond the mat and offers you practice that can be used throughout every day. In this short video in my Mindful Monday series, I go in to more detail about how setting an intention can benefit you.
At the beginning of every one of my classes, we start with an intention for the practice but we do this not only for the time that we're on our mat but so that we can get more comfortable being intentional in the world.
Imagine if you set an intention before everything you did in your day. Before you got in your car maybe you set an intention for safe travels. Or before you have a difficult conversation with a family member or co-worker. Imagine setting an attention before you go through the grocery store about picking only healthy whole foods for yourself.
It's incredible what just being intentional throughout your day can do to really help you live a whole and mindful life.
