On Monday, we came together and did a yoga & meditation practice for healing after Hurricane Ian. It was really powerful for me personally. It came from my heart and it came from my own desire for healing.
I didn't expect the raw emotions that would pour out of me. But they did. And I finally took a breath. And I took the first steps towards my own healing.
We offered healing for all those that are still dealing with with the challenges of the storm. So many of my local students weren't there because they still don't have power or internet or are do everything they can to dry out. So we practiced for them.
Some of us were there to receive and some of us were there to give. Either way, it was powerful to feel like we could do something through prayer and holding space to heal and to offer healing after experiencing the power of Mother Nature.
Even if you don't do the full practice, experience the meditation in the first 7 minutes of the practice so we can continue to heal and offer healing for days and weeks to come.
