Practice the serenity of yoga in a truly serene environment - the beach. Being on the sand by the side of the ocean magnifies the oneness that always exists but we often fail to notice. Yoga on the beach is less about alignment and more about communing with nature and celebrating your soul. Since we will have the energy of the new moon we will also take a few minutes in a New Moon Meditation as a part of this practice.
We will meet at Frank Rendon Park located at 2705 S. Atlantic Avenue which is about 2 miles north of Dunlawton on A1A. There is ample parking as well as bathrooms and showers. Please bring an old yoga mat or large beach towel (you don't want to use your regular studio mat). We will be placing mats at least 6 feet apart on the sand to maintain Social Distancing. Please do not come if you are feeling ill, running a fever, or have been around anyone that may be sick or exposed to Covid-19.
Don't forget weather appropriate gear such as hats, glasses or jackets. Since it is hot this time of year I recommend wearing your swim suit under your yoga clothes so that you an easily take a dip in the ocean after the practice. It's truly refreshing and cleansing.
Beach Yoga is only $12 and can be paid in cash at the beach (please email me at mailkrista@gmail.com or text me at 386-589-1199 if you plan to come) or click here to sign up online.
