Breath Is My Superpower - Breathwork Practices and Practical Applications

Learn breath practices that improve your digestion, reduce stress and anxiety; increase physical stamina and help maintain good posture and overall well-being.
During this live, online workshop we will:
• Explore a variety of breathwork techniques suitable for everyday use
• Identify key benefits of specific breathing techniques
• Review the respiratory system
• Understand contraindications and other factors to consider with breathwork
• Recognize the role of mindfulness in breathwork
This workshop is being taught by Buffy Pilloud, E-RYT, is an Associate Professor of Yoga and Meditation at Valencia College in Orlando, FL. She is a seasoned Yoga Alliance-registered instructor of Hatha Yoga, Pre-Natal Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Yoga for Seniors and meditation, as well as a Tai Chi Easy and Medical Qigong Practice Leader. Buffy’s mission is to help people find mind-body-spirit wellbeing using movement, breathwork and meditation and through natural methods that enhance health on all levels of being.
*This workshop is approved for 1.25 hours of continuing education credits for Yoga Alliance-registered instructors.
*Registrants will receive a handout and 30 days of access to a recording of the workshop. So even if you can’t attend live on the day of the workshop, you will still have access to all the information to view and study on your own.
