The retreat is being held at a spiritual development center which means it is rich in spirit and energy. It is nestled in more than 200 acres of beautiful land surrounded by Lake Howell. The 90 acres of developed land are beautiful and include a water front dock. There a few unique locations on the property that we will get to utilize including a prayer labyrinth, walking paths, a fire pit, and also a peaceful chapel facing the woods.

10-12pm Create a Morning Ritual – Explore a variety of self-care practices so you can build a morning ritual to start each and everyday with purpose and intention.
12-2 pm Lunch and Personal time – Mindful Eating Practice
2-4pm Release, Leg Go & Transform – Experience a therapeutic technique to identify and release limiting beliefs about yourself and transform them into positive, loving, healing beliefs.
4-4:30pm – Yoga Nidra
4:30-5:30pm Creating Your Altar - Have the opportunity to create your own personal altar to support your spiritual practice.

7:30-9pm Fire Releasing Circle – A ceremony to release and let go.

Retreat Hosts
KRISTA OAKES, E-RYT
Krista is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) who has taught classes and workshops to thousands of people throughout Florida and the East Coast for nearly two decades. Her approach integrates the Kripalu Yoga style of teaching compassion, integrated with the mindfulness of meditation, and the awareness of nutrition, blended with personal training and lifestyle coaching. Krista specializes in working with beginners and teaching gentler yoga classes where the focus is on safety, proper body alignment, mindfulness and learning to trust yourself.
Attention Yoga Teachers: I am E-RYT 200 certified with Yoga Alliance. Yoga Teachers can receive 17 contact hours for taking this course. Please let me know prior to the event if you would like to receive the CEU's.
Special Guest Presenter
WENDY CRANE, LMFT
Wendy is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Florida who has worked with individuals, couples, and families for more than 20 years. She entered private practice in 2003 and founded Sol Flower Wellness in 2012. She is an advanced clinical hypnotherapist and studied hypnotherapy, psychodrama, and breathwork with the Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington from 2009-2016. Beyond counseling, she pursued certification as a Kripalu Yoga Teacher and completed a 200-hour teacher training in 2012. These experiences give her a unique ability to understand the mind, body, spirit connection within the context of mental health and inspired her to create a holistic approach that combines counseling, hypnotherapy, and the principles and practices of yoga and meditation.

KARL WILLIAM MIRANDA
Karl William Miranda has been a self-taught musician most of his life. He fluently plays the Native American Flute, several percussion instruments, as well the Australian Didgeridoo, and keyboards. He combines environmental nature sounds and indigenous instruments to create an ambiance that promotes a suitable space for numerous physical and meditative activities.
“There is no medicine more therapeutic than the sounds found in nature. They have the incredible ability to ground us, and uplift our spirit”.
While living in New York City, Karl William began studying Shamanism in 1998. He used his love for music to connect with his studies by learning to play indigenous instruments corresponding to the various Shamanic cultures. In the year 2000, he had made the decision to move down towards Florida in hopes of broadened his Shamanic studies, and musical passion.
Karl William is currently in the studio recording his music. It is his hope that the music he creates will inspire creativity and self expression within others.
